Toketaware released a rewritten version of it’s iPad mindmapping software iThoughts (more here: http://macsparky.com/blog/2014/5/ithoughts-for-ios-update-new-and-on-sale). For a limited period (the iTunes store says “for the first few weeks”) it is available at a discount of 80% = $1.99.

The new iThoughts is a migration challenge for documents that were synced with a cloud account. The Box service is not an option in this version—only Dropbox is on the list of cloud services (as far as I can tell).
I had a couple of false starts syncing the new version with Dropbox—winding up with numerous “conflict” copies of maps. There is a feature to export maps from the older version to the new version. Using that feature, and then syncing led me to the hash of good copies plus “conflict” copies of maps.
Instead of that, I suggest this procedure: first, sync everything in your old version of iThoughts to Dropbox. Then, open the new version, go through the configuration dialog with Dropbox to select a new (empty) folder as the local target folder and the existing folder on Dropbox as the remote source. Then run the sync to “download” everything from that Dropbox folder to your iOS device’s instance of iThoughts.
