Here’s an interview with Keith Blount from Mac Appstorm:

I don’t know how much he talks about the issues you’re concerned with, AndyJim, but it’s probably a good read anyway.

ListPro is wonderful, by far the best list manager I have used, but it has never been ported to Android. I used it for years, going back to Palm OS, but abandoned it because of the lack of an Android version. I don’t understand why Ilium hasn’t ported it, since it seems to be built on use the same proprietary database as their eWallet password manager, which IS available on Android. Nonetheless. I can’t imagine using it as a writing tool.

I too used Blackwell Idealist back in the day, and I remember that even as a newby I found it easy to use (I moved on to FileMaker Pro back then - wish I could afford it now!). Anyway - You can get Idealist 3 and 5 here - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/idealistdb. Unfortunately it /they do not work on my Windows 7 64bit. Ho hum!

I happened to use Notezilla this morning, and thought of your requirements for a simple, unobtrusive program for getting things down. As a result I am mentioning Notezilla again. Please consider looking at this program. It may be helpful, and spur on your writing while you seek other components to facilitate your work flow. http://www.conceptworld.com/Notezilla
