Yes, I think Petko has undertaken a huge and impressive project.
I’m going to do what I can to introduce MyInfo to a wider audience. I’m really surprised by large number of researchers and grad students who have never even heard of PIM software and are completely unaware of the benefits that such software can bring to organizing and analyzing large collections of data.
We can only hope that Petko will be able to develop a cross platform version sooner than later!
MyInfo might find many Linux customers.
The last time I checked, Linux still lacks a powerful PIM application. I formerly relied on KeepNote, but it was unable to handle web clippings or Chinese text properly. The Keepnote project appears to have faded a few years ago. I also tried CherryTree but didn’t like the interface and had similar problems with web clippings.

For my Linux boxes, I’ve been using myBase from http://wjjsoft.com/—They just introduced the Linux version with this last update to 7. It works very nicely, but I would prefer to use MyInfo, based on my Windows desktop experiences.—Glen
