So much for fun. But I was writing seriously here. ;-)
No, seriously, just plastering walls with more or less undistinguishable 3M notes is not worth it (for afficionados of this concept, in this forum, an MS beta software for doing this on screen - what sort of screen, please?! - has been discussed some day, but it’s not me who’ll look that crap up for you), but there certainly would be much interest in gathering a broader collection of what did ace authors in that respect.
This could become a very welcomed PhD dissertation e.g., far from the kind by which some politicians get their PhD, e.g. (real-life example of one the members of the current German goverment: “The development of the margarine industry on the Lower Rhine”).
Real-life, I said. Ok, you riddled me for the “pure gold”, but you must see that most ace authors will not share what they consider their “secrets”, and in some instances only, university archives will get such invaluable docs, here and then, instead of them being thrown into flames.
