Amode V3 plans shelved

Was looking forward to upgrades from V2, which has not had a major update in a while. Is another word for "version obsolescence" possibly "version stability"? . A bit dissapointed, but actually not surprised as I understand even more these days just how difficult it is to survive in the software tool market...
Anyway, here is the email I got from Alex England:

As you expressed interest on the website about Amode V3, I just want to let you know that for now the development has been frozen. There are a number of factors conspiring to cause this, and we have given the development some time to show interest. Primarily it is due to a very low rate of consumer interest as compared to other products we offer. So at this point further development of the product is not commercially viable. If that changes in the future I will let you know.
Out of courtesy I just wanted to follow up with you directly in case you had been holding off on another solution in favour of this development. We will still support Amode V2 users though. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for bringing this up. I hadn't heard of this software. If these are the same people who developed Bluebeam Revu, I'm interested on that basis alone.
