Single-pane outliner with inline notes and customisable column

I liked XL Notes v2 so much that I bought it ... actually, I bought v8 which is SO filled with bugs that I continually lost (virtually) *everything* that I put into it. If MY experience is any indication, stay AWAY from v8. V2 (if you can find it) still works great, although for Office 2013 you have to first install it into Office 2010 (presumably Office 2007 will work as well) then upgrade to Office 2013 in order to install XL Notes V2. (after that, it works fine).
Although XLNotes (V2) works great for its purpose (adding docs to Excel spreadsheet cells) it’s probably less great for the purpose here. IMHO, a better choice for a one-pane outliner with column support is UV Outliner. It’s free and it has always worked great for me; including export to rtf.
