Looks like KnowledgeWorkshop (http://www.kworkshop.com/ is down for the count. Website now displays the following:
"Notice
For business operational reasons, the KnowledgeWorkshop product is regrettably no longer available.
Current users can continue to receive technical support by contacting us here."
Last Bing cache of the prior site is from 12/5/2012, so it happened recently. Looks like the last update was v2.7.3.0 from 2010 (source: http://www.softpedia.com/progChangelog/KnowledgeWorkshop-Changelog-34921.html
Some mentions of KnowledgeWorkshop are at http://www.outlinersoftware.com/search/index/knowledgeworkshop but reading posts such as http://www.outlinersoftware.com/topics/viewt/178/5 show some insight into a troubling release of the 2.0 version a while back.
I remember taking a peek at it a couple of times, and liked the "related items" functionality, but remember thinking that the price seemed a bit steep, and buzz around the product was missing, so I ran the other direction.....Looks like the right decision, in hindsight....
Anybody here have experience with it? Did it possess any redeeming features?

I trialed Knowledge Workshop a few times, the first such experience after KW was first released.
The product was horrendously overpriced, and the sales copy for it banked heavily on the fact that university professors with great insights on information created the product.
But it was never cutting edge. Over time the price was slashed considerably.
