That’s too broad a question. Both are nice applications, and which one is “better” is dependent on your own needs and sensibilities. Ultrarecall is more powerful, in that you can create custom fields for your meta data. It is probably more versatile. But I personally prefer myBase because it feels more elegant to me and I like the editor better (though you can’t create tables). While I have not tried it, from what I recall of Casius’s reporting, myBase’s web collecting feature is likely more powerful too.
