Rich View format in RightNote

This is a stupid question, and I feel embarrassed asking it, but here goes . . .
I am continuing to play around with RightNote, but I am still baffled by the Rich View format that is used as the default format for Web clippings. What I see on the screen is a series of raised dots between the words and a paragraph symbol (pilcrow, I believe it's called) at each hard return.
Is there some way to make these unpleasant little symbols go away?

This morning I did what I should have done in the first place: I sent a note to the developer, Rael Bauer. I got a very quick response back from him that explained all. Under the view menu, uncheck special characters. It was that simple.
