For those interested in Surfulater I've just posted a new article about Surfulater as a Cloud based application. http://blog.surfulater.com/2012/10/22/to-cloud-or-not/
Please do post any comments on the Blog.
And some other posts about the new Surfulater app that is in development:

Neville, thanks for the discussion post on Surfulator.
My preference is for a Surfulator that resides both in the cloud and on my two computers, and is capable of being synchronized.
The need remains in this area for a product which is sensitive to the needs of people who manage information, and utilize it in research and writing. At this time Evernote barely scratches the surface in terms of info management, though it is excellent at collecting it.
From a writer's perspective, the one thing EN does which is highly useful is that it permits multiple windows to be open at the same time. This is handy for scanning information from various sources which is then incorporated into a single article.
I'd be glad to be a beta tester when you reach that stage.
