Checkvist, which remains my preferred online outliner, has recently added some useful requested features:
- Easy linking between lists http://checkvist.tumblr.com/post/34116653826/easy-linking-between-lists
- Attachments, images and MarkDown http://checkvist.tumblr.com/post/32131813393/counting-chickens-and-a-new-hosting-provider
- Task time estimation (via third party Chrome add-in) http://checkvist.tumblr.com/post/25355714705/time-estimation-with-timecalc
I find Checkvist a prime example of consistent development that adds value to the main offering. At its heart it’s a single pane outliner, which can be completely controlled via keyboard. This includes all complementary functionality, e.g. tags, external URLs, linked links etc.
It is also worth noting that all new features spend several months in beta, accessible to existing users, before they are ported to the production server.
