Another issue with this early version of Folding Text is the very limited export options. Basically (unless I’m missing something), you can export to HTML or… that’s it. You can also cut and paste the plain text into other documents, but that brings all the extraneous hash tags. This seems a very curious limitation in an application that purports to use a markdown type of approach to formatting text. I am sure they’ll be expanding the options for export in future editions, but this just makes the application seem unfinished to me.
