Has anyone tried Any.do for task management? (It's not easy to search the forum for this term, as quotation marks are not allowed.)
It's available for both Android and iPhone (and Chrome), with web interface in the works. It has a very minimalistic interface, which does appeal to me. I just wonder how well it integrates the calendar function and all the other features, once there are lots of tasks in there. How well does the sharing work?

I knew that Any.do rang a bell, and indeed I had mentioned it myself some time ago here http://www.outlinersoftware.com/topics/viewt/3128/5
I was clearly not impressed, as I didn't proceed to actually trial it...

Nope, it didn't work for me either. However, in my quest for a minimalist to-do app for my iPod/iPad/PC, I've ended up using and actually liking the app I dismissed initially out of hand: Apple's own built-in Reminders app.
It looks very clean, items can display inline notes, exclamation marks for 3 priority levels, as well as time and date, if assigned:

On the PC, it can be called up through the iCloud Control Panel and it will be displayed in a browser (I created a shortcut to it in my bookmarks toolbar in Firefox).
But there is an inexplicable design decision in the iPad version and in the desktop version: neither would let you rearrange the list manually. Fortunately my iPod is my main interface for entering new tasks, so I can live with that.
