Petko has just released MyInfo 6.10; in his usual unassuming way, he describes it as a “small update,” but in fact there are quite a few significant improvements and new features. Some of them seem to be in direct response to suggestions offered on the MyInfo forum.
Here’s a link to his blog summarizing the changes:

Unfortunately, no, though Petko has indicated that might be included in some future release. The development of MyInfo (which is a one-man operation, as far as I know) is rather slow—but steady and solid. It’s been around for more than a decade, there are few bugs in each release, and Petko is exceptionally responsive to suggestions (and complaints) from customers.
So if you use MyInfo you have to learn to be patient (I too long for indexed attached PDF files). On the other hand, you sense that MyInfo should stay in the market for a long time and is not likely to veer off in some fashionable but bizarre direction.

You may want to bring Petco in touch with Archivarius’ developer http://www.likasoft.com
Archivarius is a very powerful indexing program, supporting PDFs among others, and its developer is constantly adding support to new file formats. After a brief mail exchange a few years back, he added support to Surfulater files (though this might have been broken in the meantime as the database format changed). I expect that support for MyInfo would be possible.
It wouldn’t be the same as having the search within MyInfo, but it would mean that you can search both PDFs and MyInfo from the same interface.

Thanks. I have just passed your note on to Petko.
