For those still working in a predominantly Windows-oriented environment, this may be of some interest. With latest updates of Inspiration (to 9.1) and to their Ipad app you can now exchange your Inspiration desktop outlines and diagrams with the Ipad app via Dropbox or email. (Exchanges of mindmaps - added in 9.0—are still not supported.)
For me this is a pretty big deal. Up until now, I have been using Carbonfin Outliner for more rudimentary outlines that I want synced with my Ipad/Iphone. Now I can finally have my large collection of Inspiration outlines ported to my Ipad—complete with often lengthy inline (collapsible) notes. I still prefer Ecco Pro (with “slangmgh” extensions) as my Windows outliner due to its column-based cross referencing and filtering. Still, this Inspiration update is encouraging for those wishing to integrate a competent Windows outliner within the ever expanding Ipad milieu.

I must confess I do like Inspiration. I didn’t spot this update - thanks for the news!
