My request is pretty basic:
The number of pages displayed at the top and bottom of each webpage should be extended past 3 - to at least 9.
Currently it shows 1 2 3 > Last. If you click on the number hyperlink you get up to 5 pages at a time. This makes browsing longer threads rather tiresome.
I’d prefer something consistent with more page links displayed so you can jump directly to particular pages more easily.
Thanks
Jack

I will plan to increase the number of page links for a thread as that should be a simple change.
One trick in the meantime - if you are using the Clearly browser extension for Firefox or Chrome, and you turn it on for the first page of a topic thread, you can read all the pages of the topic in one clean page. Clearly is made by Evernote, and provides a button to clip the viewed page to Evernote, but as far as I know you don’t have to use Evernote to use Clearly.

Encourage all posters to be brief and to the point. I have noticed that recently many post are long-winded and, in part, irrelevant to the issue at hand. Brevity and relevance, please.

That’s a little bit like reducing freedom of speech for everyone because of one or two extremists who abuse that right. Limiting the post length would still allow someone to post the same amount of words but in multiple consecutive posts, which is even worse. So then we would need to consider limiting the ability to post multiple consecutive posts etc., so where would it all end?
