making more work for chris: screenshots?

I was wondering whether it would be possible to implement screenshots in this forum. It would be good if we could post screenshots to illustrate our posts. Ideally, thumbnail images would appear in the posts, and when clicked, a larger image would float over the usual discussion thread page, and there would be arrows to move between images.

Of course, we could also post screenshots to some other service and post links in our messages ... not nearly as good, but better than nothing. What would be the best options for posting screenshots for this purpose?

I usually Dropbox to share screenshots from freeware Gadwin Printscreen which I use, but you might prefer to open an account at http://www.screencast.com/ It works directly with SnagIt from the same company http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.html which I believe several people here use.

I was actually thinking about the ability to attach screenshots to posts earlier today. I will start a poll thread to let everyone contribute their desired forum enhancements.

Also note that I’m moving the site to a new server tonight, so there may be a couple of brief periods when it cannot be accessed.
