Thanks, glad to hear that. I guess it took me a while to clarify my thoughts about it.
No, I used SmartDraw 2012. I wouldn’t recommend it for brainstorming or for analysing problems (VUE is better for that), however it’s good for creating charts for presentational purposes, once you know what you want to say.

Apparently both NVivo and Atlas.ti came out with Mac versions this year. Here are some reflections on them:
