Just noticed that there is a new version of Outine released for the iPad called Outline+. Last time I checkedI it out it was read only, now you can edit as well. Outline+ has unlimited pages and Dropbox sync for £10.49, which is the same price as the official MS app with the 500 page limited removed.
The free version is now called Outline - OneNote copilot for iPad. It has no Dropbox support and a 30 page limit. Sufficient for testing purposes only.
The price seems a bit steep compared to the majority of other iPad apps, but i guess is set to match the MS app and is in the same ball park as Omnioutliner.

I watched the video and was impressed. They have a website for Outline - The OneNote Companion here:

I come back to OneNote a lot because it just feels right to me. Those who have used the new version in the Office 2013 Preview say that it almost takes center stage and they've added more to OneNote than anything else in the suite. It looks like Microsoft is finally going to make a big push with it as it's actually been one of their "quiet" applications.

And you can try the customer preview for free by going to http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/en
I used it briefly but uninstalled it because the new Excel was giving me errors and I didn't feel like dealing with that.
The Metro skin also takes some getting used to.
By default all the office apps will now store to the cloud. Licensing will be by subscription and will allow installation on up to five devices. The installation via the Web is incredibly fast.
