Take advantage of this interesting deal while it's on, fellow CRIMPers! The reason? EssentialPIM (always a promising if slightly flawed information manager) has now gained the ability to synchronise with all sorts of accounts, including Google, Yahoo, Toodledo etc., but also with their new Android client (free!) and their about-to-be-unveiled iOS client (also, I believe, free). The sync process actually appears to work pretty well, although I notice it hasn't captured all my contacts (it has captured notes and passwords, however)! But EssentialPIM is in constant, steady development, and the developers are also very responsive.

"Hey, Sully - you know I said I would kill you last?" - "Yeah, Matrix, yeah, you did..." - "I lied."
And I lied, too - actually, EssentialPIM imported all my contacts flawlessly at breakneck speed - I was fooled by the fact that I have a number of empty contact entries that EssentialPIM also enthusiastically imported (they showed at the top of the list, fooling me into thinking my contacts weren't there. Duh!). I must say the latest version 5.0 is very smooth and stable. And it has a very unusual feature that you won't see in many outliners (pace MyInfo): you can create multiple "trees" in a single navigation pane, and multiple "leaves" in a single note. I'm just experimenting with the possibilities...
It's also a fairly competent IMAP mail client, by the way.

I once used TexNotes Pro from GemX. They have changed hands a couple of times since the founder sold, but the main product is now their PIM software they have renamed "Harmony".....it's worth the free trial. Incredibly comprehensive if you like that kind of thing. I call it kitchen-sink software.
