I am very excited about Rightnote being able to sync with evernote… but I can’t get it to work :(
Every time I try to save a file that has an evernote type note in it, it crashes (sent a bug report with additional info).
Am I the only one with this problem? Logging in to evernote and getting the names of the notebooks works without problems. But can’t save the file, and therefore not sync (‘no evernote type notes in the file’).

I did a few tests of the Evernote/Rightnote synchronization this afternoon, and this is what I found.
You set up the connection in Rightnote under “Tools.” Don’t put in a password for Rightnote. Choose an EN notebook.
Create a note in Rightnote. Then choose the synchronization item in “Tools”; don’t use the icon on the menu bar, because that will cause Rightnote to crash. (I have no idea why.) Then go into EN and synchronize at that end, and the note will appear in the notebook you have chosen. Any changes you make in the note in EN can then be synced back to Rightnote.
All the standard EN formatting commands are available in Rightnote, including the checkboxes.
In other words, it works, more or less, but it’s certainly not ready for prime time yet. As I said, the menu icon for syncing in Rightnote has to be avoided. A few of the formatting choices in Rightnote—I noticed horizontal lines and bullets in particular—cause Rightnote to crash. Tags can be synced from EN to Rightnote but not vice versa. Formatting goes haywire from time to time in Rightnote—extremely small or large fonts suddenly appear, even when you have selected the default font.
I think the concept is very promising, and I hope Rightnote will get the problems sorted out eventually. The beauty of this system is that you would be able to organize your notes with Rightnote’s tree panel yet also take advantage of Evernote’s reach into the mobile world.
