I knew it had to happen! The same day I mentioned Research Assistant as an ‘obsolete’, I noticed that new version appeared. Well, it was announced I think in 2001 or 2002 and nothing had happened until now… Anyhow, it is very simple, but easy to use, I would say, a decent program to keep various files and bookmarks necessary for a specific project together, annotate them, search, produce bibliographies, mark progress. No big deal, no plenty of features, but I found it useful for several of my research tasks and have been using it from time to time for several years.

Anyone know if Research Assistant has disappeared, or just moved/changed in some way? Sounds interesting.
