In the “reports of my death are premature” department, I just tried clicking over to ndexCards again and find that the site is up and running again.
Still, any software company that would let its domain name expire by accident, isn’t exactly focussed on the business at hand, I’d say.

I believe that the main indicator is the last update of the software:
“Version 1.96, December 2007
New Features
Vista compatibility”
As for the domain’s expiry, it could happen for a variety of reasons, so I could excuse it.
