I've posted before about Bfolders-2. My solution for the loss of the "memo" functionality of my old Palm device when I moved to an Android phone. I have always liked the program and it has undergone continuous enhancement - particularly in the area of sync and UI. I just wanted to let the community know that they have released Bfolders-3. I am just in the process of downloading it so I can't comment on the improvements but here is the list of changes for the new version:

Task management - keep nested task lists and checklists.
Agenda view - displays only active tasks.
Journaling - keep multiple diaries.
Contact lists.
Trash folder.
Significantly improved sync engine.
Serving sync requests is enabled by default - no need to open the Sync panel on the passive peer.
A lot of UI improvements.
