I tried MindManager, but I preferred the free software called FreeMind :)
There is now a very nice flash browser for their maps to view in the browser, have a look

They are working closely with Microsoft what I believe is not a bad idea because MS Office is on around 80% of all PCs on this planet. The tight integration between MindManager and the MS Office applications is a great plus when entering the corporate market.

Apart from this, bashing Microsoft gets more and more boring because nearly everybody is doing it. Don’t forget that Microsoft has some great products: Excel, OneNote and more.

If you don’t agree with the pricing and/or upgrade policies of a company then just don’t buy the software.
