Just came across a review of this freebie. I haven’t tried it out, but it looks like it might be useful.

This looks very interesting.
Just a quick look at it now reminds me of Planz http://kftf.ischool.washington.edu/planner_index.htm
Except this program seems, again after just a passing glance, to be more versatile.

Having downloaded program, and played around with it some, can say it needs more work.

As the primary developer of DiviFile, I’m thrilled to see it mentioned on this website. I’ve been an avid outliner user ever since first encountering such tools over ten years ago. Apart from improving DiviFile in its current capacity as a file/bookmark organizer, the app was originally intended to be an outliner replacement. The major missing piece of the puzzle is the to-do list/GTD functionality that I planned from the start to be an integral part. Although it’s accommodated in the database, it hasn’t yet been implemented in the user-interface.
Your feedback is very important in shaping DiviFile’s future. Please send your suggestions and bug/crash reports to support@qnomad.com.

Hello fellow outliner fans! Just a quick note to let you know that a new version of DiviFile has been released at http://www.qnomad.com/divifile/ . It fixes a crash that occurred during Favorites import, It includes an add-on for Firefox 7 (instead of Firefox 6 as in the previous version). And it now allows dragging files from DiviFile and dropping them into any other app. These improvements are the result of user feedback, so please do not hesitate to send your requests to support@qnomad.com .
