I have found a very nice and very helpful tool: Explorer Breadcrumb
http://minimalist.com/docs/ExplorerBreadcrumbs/
“Rather than navigating step-by-step through your folder hierarchy—view your folders quickly and go directly to any location with a single click.
Explorer Breadcrumbs is an add-in for Windows Explorer which contains a contextual series of buttons that allows you to quickly see and navigate through the entire folder hierarchy without leaving the current window.
Features:
- Saves time navigating through folders and files
- Seamless integration with Windows Explorer
- Changes appearance along with Windows themes”
This feature is ‘copied’ from the Windows Vista file explorer.
It is available for free but you can donate $7.95 if you like the tool. I like it and I will donate.
Even it is a very small tool (the size of the downloaded file is 332 KB) it really helps you to navigate quickly through your folder hierarchies on your pc/laptop and on the network drives.
