Charles, I opened 2.10,12, but no, I do not intend to use it. The head of CaseSoft essentially told us that it was unlikely there would be further development of NoteMap. Note the copyright date on the latest build is 2007 (or in the “About” panel, 2006). I think that a fix for the “lost test” problem would have justified a new version number (2.1?) instead of a new build number. Also, most developers mention when they’ve fixed bugs.
If you use it with only single, short paragraph outline items you may be OK. My loss occurred when I had several paragraphs in one outline item. To be on the safe side, you can save frequently using version numbers: Title001, Title002, ...
The problem Jack spoke of, about direct conversion to Word has a simple work around: Save your outline to .rtf and then open the .rtf file in Word. That seemed to work for me. Maybe the new build fixes that. It certainly would be very easy to fix with a couple of lines of code.

Hi Stefan,
Really glad to hear you are finding Noteliner so useful. I have the navigation panel in my internal build but am going to test it for a little while before I put it up on the site, probably as part of 3.3. I don’t know how I lived without it!
In terms of your two requests, I’m happy to include them in 3.3. I’ll also include the merge feature that George asked for.
Best,
Sam
