Speaking of task managers, one that I use for task planning is _Goal Enforcer. What I think most recommends it is that, in my opinion it has a high Power/Complexity ratio. You might describe it as a mindmapper that operates by automatic hoisting, in "Brainstorm" manner. It's fairly pricey but the developer is making an unusual offer here's the release:

____________

We would like to announce that two new GoalEnforcer versions were released on April/20/2011:

- GoalEnforcer Starter Edition for Mac OS X
- GoalEnforcer Standard Edition for Mac OS X

The Mac line of GoalEnforcer products is now complete, including all 3 versions like the Windows counterpart: Starter, Standard and Hyperfocus.

Celebrating the release of the new products, we are currently running a short time promotion for both Windows and Mac OS X Starter Edition versions based on the current Stock Market performance: both Starter Edition versions will be available for one dollar until the Stock Market Dow Jones index reaches 14800 points.
