Gizmo’s sends me a daily email on free software and related topics.
Today’s had the above title. It describes TreeSheets and includes viewers comments that discuss some other PIMs that I had not heard of.

TreeSheets is very good, and the Dutch developer is charming and very responsive. But I’ve been trying to persuade him to incorporate folding for months now, and he’s very resistant (TreeSheets does a kind of folding by reducing the size of subsections using mouse movements, but this isn’t either especially intuitive or especially convenient, especially if - like me - you use a trackball)!
More pressure from other forum members might conceivably induce him to change his mind… ;-)
Cheers,
Bill

Thanks for alerting us of this software. I am just beginning to explore it’s capabilities and find it very intriguing so far.
