Some people here seem familiar with Knowledge Base. I received an email from Bits Du Jour announcing that they will be providing a link to a one-day discount for Knowlege Base on March 22. If you register at Bits du Jour, you will receive an email with a link. Alternatively, I think you can visit Bits du Jour on that day and link from there.
BDJ offers daily discounts on other software, too. Seems like 33-50% is a typical discount A fare part of the software offered may be junk, or at least not best-in-class, but some is quite good. Below is a copy of part of their recent email.

One more thing ...
I noticed that today’s discount is a piece of software that relates to knowledge organization. I have never heard of it, but here’s some info from Bits Du Jour:
Topicscape Personal Edition Lite
Regular price: $49.99
Bits du Jour One Day price: $19.99
Topicscape Personal Edition Pro
Regular price: $79.99
Bits du Jour One Day price: $31.99
Discount: 60%
Too much information! Do you ever feel like one more piece of info and your brain is going to explode? But somehow the information organizing tools you have just don’t quite get your info organized in a way that really helps you find and use what you need.
Topicscape gives you a new way to organize your work and find the info you need. Showing your information in 3D landscape can reveal details and relationships you’ve never noticed before, and help you sort out your thoughts and approach on a new project even before you have collected any files or information.
Topicscape lets you:
Manage your project information
Get more out of your reference information
Organize your files and notes
Classify your saved web pages
Assemble your home and family reference
Greatly expand your mindmapping
Help your children organize their study, learning, homework and term papers
Cope with information overload
Build Topicscapes from other sources, automatically

I tested Topicscape a while back. Since it’s really a 3D application, it needs some cpu and graphics horsepower. It’s an interesting concept, but I found it very difficult to use - probably because of the 3D navigation.
I’m curious to hear how its used by someone who uses it on a regular basis.
Re Knowledge Base, I wonder which application they referring to. Google isn’t really much help, as the name is a generic term. None of the top hits seems to be _personal_ information managers.

It may be General Knowledge Base.

Nothing special in my opinion.
