Ariadne As An Alternative

I notice similarities between Ariadne (http://www.open-sft.com/) and InfoSelect. Now that Ariadne is again being developed, I have been using it. It lacks the database and email features of IS, but my thought is that it is quite capable of handling a great deal of information easily, given key word (category) capability, as well as features familiar to IS users such as hot spots (accelerators). While it has no hoist feature (yet—I have asked for it), one is able to declare a locus folder for topics and subtopics that would otherwise be hoisted. Clicking on the locu button at the bottom of the Ariadne window presents a hoisted topic or subtopic.
In the last beta build, the developer has provided a workspace feature in addition to the popups for notes. Any item in the outline, including grid items, can have a comment assigned to it. The comment is represented by an icon to the rt of the item title. Clicking on the item pops open the comment.
There is no cloning feature, but items can be easily and neatly linked together.
Ariadne used to have a browser feature, but that has been removed for the time being. I am hoping that Mike, the developer, will replace it with an embedded Firefox browser.

Jan, I have downloaded 5.07.70, but haven’t had a chance to do anything with it yet.
What is the fix included for me?
Thanks.

Sorry, Daly. Error on my side. He referenced Graham’s error report. Graham/Daly, Graham/Daly… close right? :-)
