Has anyone heard anything from ndxCards? Is the program still under development?
Thanks.

I’ve no privileged information, but the signs - last update almost three years ago, copyright dating two years old - aren’t good.
If development is dead, I think that would be a pity. I still have a licensed copy on my PC; although I haven’t used it for years, that’s because most of my work is on my Mac. I’ve always thought it’s an interesting combination of index cards and outline, with potential if it was opened up to recent developments such as note-syncing. The design is so retro as to be almost contemporary.

Thanks, Hugh.
The design is retro, and it is unique.
But it is also functional.
The company seemed to have a good trajectory for further development - and it offers a flexibility for writers and researchers, which seems to be lacking most other PC programs. Part of that flexibility, of course, is having the ability to open and pin multiple cards. But the use of the outline, also adds flexibility. As does the ability to use the cards as flash cards.
I checked here, and found an earlier post suggesting the developer of ndxCards had been ill - I do hope he has recovered, and that his business can be started up again. If not, I think I’d be interested in discussing alternatives, which might be beneficial for him and for users.

Chris - David’s post to this group is noted in the forum list - but isn’t showing up here.
Is there a glitch.
Thanks.
