Mori - feature set looks good, but...

If I look at the outliner programs in terms of feature sets, Mori looks good on paper.
But…doing something so simple as setting up a new column leads me to having to set up a new file in the name of the column I have just created. And then the column doesn’t appear anyway.
Very frustrating. And I stop right there because until I can solve that problem there is no point wasting time with the rest of the program - columns are so basic.
So…if anyone can tell me how to set up a column in Mori that actually works, please, please, I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

I don’t know Daly, but I would re-iterate what I think Steve Z. wrote elsewhere, which is that Mori was regarded as very good several years ago, but the original developer then sold it on and little has changed since then. I’m not surprised that certain actions are by today’s standards, clumsy.
Incidentally, the original developer, who is I think highly regarded, then went on to create TaskPaper and WriteRoom, which were innovative and continue to be developed.
