I’ve used Jot+ for a great many years for storing information that did not involve Web pages. By now, my Jot+ files have grown quite extensive. However, Jot+ is getting “long in the tooth” with no updates in sight, so I am looking for a replacement.
If anyone knows of a possible replacement that can import or convert Jot+ files, I would very much appreciate learning of such. Thanks!!!

I recall you’re a myBase user as well. Does Jot+ support data types that myBase won’t handle?

There is a free converter here - http://www.processtext.com/abcjotnotes.html
According to the blurb: “ABC Amber Jot+ Notes Converter is a free utility which converts your XML (Jot+ Notes) files to any format you wish (PDF, HTML, CHM, RTF, HLP, DOC, CSV, XLS, XML, HJT, and many more) easily and quickly ............... “
Something like this might be useful if you need to export to an intermediate format before iimporting into a new database.

NO (except it may use a later update of RTF). Of course myBase 6 is on the way.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually Jot+ can export to XML, but XXL is not its native format. I have so many files that I really hoped for a current 2-pane PIM that would automatically import Jot+ files. The Amber Notes Converter does appear to be useful, however, and I’ll add it to my Jot+ Computer info file ;-) .
