For my needs it’s perfect. Depending on the project, a text-based organizer is plenty, and anything more would just get in the way.
The real problem with Personal Knowbase is its cost. Even discounted at BDJ, it’s priced about 2-3x too high for what it does.

I am sorry for the “?” it was a long dash before I published the comments.
I just wanted to say that there is nothing wrong with text-based programs. They are just a different species of “animal.” No one has to use (or buy) such a program, but it’s pointless (I think) to object to it for being what it is.

come on, $25 is too high? develepers spent many years to learn to program and then many other years to develop that soft, and it’s not worth a few hamburgers?

It look like exactly what I have been looking for. I just started trying it out today.
It is very likely that I am going to purchase it.
A whole lot of my “silicon-life” in in text files. For me, it is really a virtue that it exports to .txt so well.

I was referring to its normal price of $49.95, and yes, that’s too high for what it does (that’s the important part - *for what it does*). ConnectedText is $10 cheaper and does much more.
