Over at donationcoder.com, there is an extensive discussion of the kind of software that people talk about here. I just stumbled across it today. Whoever runs the site put together his own summary of one thread entitled, “Notetaking Software Roundup #1.” He says this has been their most popular topic ever, involving 60,000 words, and mention of over 30 applications, including Zoot, MyInfo, Inof Handler, and Info Select. As he sees it, however, the big three—for notetaking only—are EverNote, MyBase, and Surfulater.
The entire site seems worthwhile, as their forums discuss and review many different types of software, and they regularly obtain discounts. (Of course, my loyalty remains here, but I’m glad to have donationcoder around, too.)
