Flytivy AI Knowledge Vault is a Windows desktop app for finding information across folders you choose. The use case is familiar: you remember working on something, but cannot remember which file or folder it belongs to. It provides a local index and an AI query interface to help identify relevant sources, which you can then open and check.
A few practical boundaries matter here. The current indexer works primarily with file metadata, rather than reading and understanding every document in full. AI questions use an online service and send relevant vault metadata and selected source summaries; this is not an entirely offline AI app. Sign-in is required for operations such as adding folders, indexing, asking questions and opening results. There is a free plan and paid subscription options.
