I’m posting this here because it’s next to impossible to access the IQ forum @ this time & am trying to get some work done.
Open EccoPro w EP datafile
In IQ | File | Import | EccoPro file
run thru the 4 IQ import Ecco steps
import process begins & IQ closes, nothing imported
repeated several times
Vista Ultimate
most current IQ version
EccoPro for XP/Vista installation
Anyone had a better experience?

Sorry to hear the community web site is so slow. Hosting service has been informed of the issue.
2 questions:
1- You say IQ closes… you mean program aborted, or the import was completed
2- What kind of import did you do? Selected items or complete file?

I seem to have many new fields w 0 items assigned as a result of this aborted eccopro import

Fields cannot exist without items. You probably mean “without any item text”. This is possible. Obviously the import was not completed correctly.
Does the techinfo.eco file import correctly on your machine? It works fine on mine.
