Aha. I’ve just discovered the “Remotely Save” plugin, which does (apparently) allow you to sync a local vault on e.g. iOS with a remote Obsidian vault (on e.g. Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive etc.)

Pretty good reviews, on the whole. I shall experiment!!!
