This one’s for Mac users only, I’m afraid.
FoxTrot are running a discount campaign. They’re offering a 15% discount on first-time purchases of FoxTrot 7 (Pro, Server or Personal) from within the application – i.e. if you download it first, then license it (which, to be fair, is the usual approach; they offer a trial period).

And yes, hands up, I too get a modest 5% discount on any future upgrades if you make use of the offer.
But I wouldn’t post it if I didn’t rate FoxTrot very highly – I use FoxTrot Pro all the time as a fundamental part of my workflow, being to Mac desktop search what dtSearch is/was to Windows desktop search!
While I’ve got nothing against HoudahSpot, it’s not the professional tool FoxTrot is.
