the “changes’ link shows a version 7.7 from 12/2010 but the version I downloaded was 7.6 from 2009. Either way not very encouraging.

I recently trialled MindRaider and could only get the old v7.6 (2009), despite what the “changes” link said.
Anyway, I tried out that version of MR out but found it somewhat dated and it did not meet my peculiar requirements. Still seeking a better PIM, having stopped upgrading Info Select at version 8.
Apologies if I have not got this post formatted correctly. It is my first post on this forum, though I have had the forum in my feed aggregator (Google reader) for some time. (I rarely actually visit the forum itself.)

Hi Slartibartfarst - thanks for posting. I also follow this forum via Google Reader, but jump from GR to the forum all the time. It’s my favorite online forum. I’ll give Mindraider a spin but am sure I’ll end up drawing the same conclusion you did.
