Copied and pasted from the Muse website:
Collaborative workspaces
- Collaboration: Add collaborators to a Muse workspace to work together on Muse boards (upgrade to a paid membership for more collaborators per workspace)
- Collaboration features: Muse 3 adds many collaboration-based features like online status, live cursors, following (click on the avatar of another user to follow them), board presence (user avatars show up on the board that they are in), and comments (add them through the new toolbar).
Updated UI with new sidebar
- Redesigned interface: Muse now has a persistent navigation bar at the top, a toolbar at the bottom, and an optional sidebar showing linked cards and other features.
- Breadcrumb navigation: The new navigation bar shows you the full path of your current board and lets you navigate easily.
- Back / forward navigation: The new navigation bar lets you navigate back and forward between boards as you would in a web browser.
- Back / forward navigation: The new navigation bar lets you navigate back and forward between boards as you would in a web browser.
Search
- Search finds any board with matches in the title or content (e.g. text blocks, notes, file names). Use the search button or the keyboard shortcut 3 + F.
- Double-click a result to open the board. Or use the arrow keys to select a result, then press Enter to open the board.
- While a result is selected, you can press space to peek at the board preview.
Board zoom
- Zoom to set a board to any scale, or zoom to fit the content to the window (previously known as board overview).
Ways to zoom
Pinch in out
Hold H while scrolling with your mouse or trackpad
Press 3 and [+] (zoom in) or [-] (zoom out)
Click the zoom button in the navigation bar to toggle between fitto-window and 100%.
While a result is selected, you can press space to peek at the board preview.
Connection tool
- Add connections between any cards, board cards, or text blocks.
- Ways to connect cards:
Use the connection icon in the toolbar.
Use the Connect to Card… in the card menu.
Select a card / text block, 30 + Shift + C, then click or tap the card you want to connect to.
Ink on Mac
- You’ll now find the same options for inking on Mac in the bottom toolkit.
Other changes
- Templates: We have added a first batch of pre-made templates to the toolbar, focused around team workflows.
- Copy URL: The share menu in the navigation bar now has an option to copy the URL to the current board. Anyone with - Muse installed who is a collaborator in the workspace will be able to open the board through the URL.
- Selections: Cards can now be added to or removed from a selection by holding CMD or Shift while creating another rectangle selection.
- Onboarding: New users will see a short series of guided onboarding instructions to help them get started.
- Formatting features: Colored cards and text headings are now available for all users (previously only for paid members)

It’s got search! Bravo!
This looks pretty darn interesting, actually, especially the support for collaboration. Dang. I’m investigating…

Only downside, the text boxes don’t support rich text or markdown. You could argue, so what? But I’m a bit disappointed.
However, overall it’s very nice to use.

Some of the update text shared here appears on the Mac App Store, but I can’t find the following text anywhere with a Google search:
Add connections between any cards, board cards, or text blocks.
Can you provide a link for where this text appears or where this is documentation about linking between text blocks? I can only find mention of linking between cards, but maybe they just haven’t updated their documentation yet.
