MyInfo 4.3

I was fooling around with MyInfo v4.3 the other day; hadn’t seen the program in a long time. And I was pleasantly surprised as it seems to have come a long way.

For the past month I’ve been using InfoQube in my natural day (duplicating my efforts with UltraRecall) to see how they compare & whether I’m ready to switch out of URp. No sale yet as IQ is still very techie for me but it sure has an interesting architecture. Took me a while to get my head around it because it is so different from URp & I used EccoPro too many years ago to remember much plus I’m old.

OTOH MyInfo seems similar to URp, more evolved in some ways, less than others. However, I find the nomenclature and keyboard shortcuts somewhat odd to my eye. Strangely attributes in MyInfo are static while those in URp are dynamic, i.e you can add to the list. But MyInfo has a calendar (sort of), something sorely missed in URp (IMHO). And we all know about URp’s future development ad nauseum so I won’t go there.

Oh well, I’m probably going over old territory for most of you so I’ll stop now but I WAS surprised by MyInfo’s progress since the last time I looked @ the program.
