Interesting MyInfo update (7.2)

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven’t used MyInfo before, so I downloaded the trial and gave it a spin. My impressions:
- I like the clean interface. It’s inviting to work in
- Notebooks and sections are a good way to organise, like in OneNote
- I like having a WYSIWYG editor, in this age of markdown etc not having to switch views is a benefit
- Adding attributes to notes is a great feature, as is the ability to define forms
- Perspectives are genius - I wish more programs had those (They are effectively saved searches / filters)
- Backlinks are a good feature, but they appear to only work within the same notebook
- Tags seem to be a bit buggy. There is a tags pane, but it only filters within the section that you are working in
- There doesn’t appear to be a full-screen editor for distraction-free writing
So all in all, it looks nice,and is a good information manager.
For me the use cases are already covered by The Journal (notebooks, sections, tags, templates) and InfoQube (note attributes) so I won’t be adding yet another program to my collection.
