Just to clarify, in Brainstorm one can have 6 marks (M, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and for each there are simple keyboard shortcuts to ‘Throw’ the source item or a clone of it. So one can have up to 6 ‘buckets’ at time to classify items in.
In other programmes one could use tags to achieve an effect similar to cloning, since an item can have several tags which is equivalent to belonging to several folders. Some programmes make it easy to add tags, e.g., by find-as-you-type.
