This does indeed look like an interesting piece of software. My CRIMP genes are engaged.
My initial reaction, however, is that the application for i2Brain is somewhat limited. Yes, it can help you brainstorm an essay or writing project, but you can’t actually use it to build your project. It doesn’t appear that each of its “items” is really designed to hold much text. You could plan a project with i2Brain, but I doubt you could manage a project with it for the same reasons—not a viable recepticle for lots of information.
If it cost $30, I would probably buy it for the mere CRIMPiness of it, but at $70 it has to do more for me than be an upfront engine.
Still, I’m going to install the demo and give it a whirl. I’m disappointed to see how limited the demo version is. I doubt it gives one much of an opportunity to really see the power of this program in action—why do developers do this?
