Amidst the excitement about the release of Scrivener for iOS, it would be easy to overlook that OutlineEdit has just taken another step forward with the release of version 1.6. Here’s what’s new according to the developer:
- Pinboard for Today View: keep to do lists and notes always in reach, just one swipe away
- Refined editing: automatic inline enumeration. Group guides. Gentle animation underlines fluidity and dynamism
- Better fullscreen: reconsidered layout & always visible clock
- and so many more refinements that touch every aspect of the application
I think OutlineEdit is the best utilitarian outliner for the Mac… that is, if you just need to put together a list of any kind, quickly and without a lot of fuss, it’s the go to app, just edging out Outlinely. It would be doubly useful, however, if it had an iOS version.
