Thesauri & The Brain

I just discovered the “Visual Thesaurus,” which definitely appears to be an application of “The Brain.” See http://www.visualthesaurus.com/ .

Regrettably, the best-of-all-time thesaurus is only available on paper. [Shortly after joining a top-line consulting firm I told the senior editor at our branch that I wanted to recommend to her the best English thesaurus. She responded, “It’s there on the shelf.” She was correct.]

As many/most/all of you know it is “The Synonym Finder” by Rodale.
I and, no doubt, legions of others have tried to get the publisher to create an electronic version but without success.
