Hi, I just signed up last night and this is my first comment. The reason I’m here is because I have been visiting this blog for a few years now and consider this site for “power-users”. I was looking for some keywords last night and hit on a couple of comments in the Chromebook Apps? blog. This may interest some of you.
I have been testing a “Beta” cloud app called Clibu. It is the brain child of Neville Franks CEO of you guessed it…......Surfulater. You can pick up where I’ve left off here: http://blog.surfulater.com/2014/06/03/search-keywords-by-ken-moshier/
I have been testing it for approx. a month now. Also, there was mention of a Chromebook. I purchased a 14” HP Chromebook Yesterday (6-17-2014) & have been living in the Google ecosystem for the past two days along w/Clibu. I am really impressed with the whole cloud thingy!
Neville had asked me to write an article and post it at the Surfulater site. Here you will see a Clibu link at the top of the page. When you click it, it will take you to the Clibu home page which is stagnant at present. Clibu won’t be released for 2-3 more months. You can get an overview of what Clibu will be used for though. If you decide to click the link I put in above, you will see two screen shots at the end of the article to give you a heads-up of what it looks like. The “Nested Tags” concept is simple to use and understand.
There is some great talented end-users here at OutlinersSoftware.com & I think Neville would love to see some of you getting involved by signing up to test the Beta Clibu app. You can sign up at the bottom of the page at the Clibu link from Surfulater. Please give it a look see. You can email me at
if you have any questions. Remember I’m still a new-be and I know enough to be dangerous.
One finale mention…...... The elusive “Frankenstein” model of note taking has been mentioned over at the DonationCoder web site. This may or may not be the Frankenstein app that we are constantly searching for but, it is “Freaking” awesome!! (pun intended)
